As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This armed role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, access concerns, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
